For Sword and Honor Part 17

     "So that's what happened," Issac says.
     "Yup. Seems like this whole murder case was pinned on me by this demon," Noah answers.
     "I don't think that strong of a demon could get through. Unless...", Elidia says.
     "Unless...", Neiji says moving her hands.
     "Well...it's possible that he might be the first half demon," Elidia says.
     "What?! Half demon?!", Issac questions.
     "I considered that option as well," the guildmaster says.
     "A demon that can exist in both realms...", Noah says.
     "Do we know what his goal is?", Abelena asks.
     "We don't it seems. Eurynome seems unpredictable and dangerous," the guildmaster answers. "He set Noah up, to just reveal his innocence later. He truly is strange."
     "Agreed. But we cannot overlook the fact that he killed innocent guards and released guilty criminals. He seems to be a menace to the public," Elidia mentions.
     "I will make sure the king knows of this. Now if you'll excuse me, I have a letter to write," the guildmaster says while walking out.
     "We should go too. People at the guild are waiting," Abelena says.

*A while later*
     Noah opened the doors to see the guild members in cheer. Most of them had tankards. They were glad Noah was innocent. Noah picked up a tankard and the whole team joined the party. A lot of laughing, story telling, and drinking went on. Adrian came up to Noah.
     "Umm...Noah. I wish to apoligize for how I acted before. I was blinded by my emotions," Adrian apoligizes.
     "That's alright. I would be pissed at me too if I was in your shoes," Noah says.
     "Thank you," Adrian says and heads off.

*At the guild Brawnanhome*
     "Did it go well master?", a gnoll asked.
     "Exactly as planned. My image will be all over in not too long," Nome answers.
     "Umm...isn't that a bad thing?"
     "Not if you want the people to know who the puppeteer is. Plus, I can have any image I want. Why only go out with one face? Seems fairly boring."
     "Ah yes. You're right. So smart is master Nome." Eurynome walks down to the once mess hall. His ghouls and gnolls roam around.
     "Only fifteen ghouls? That's less than half of what I had. Huhhh. What a shame. Maybe I need a new ally? The orcs hate peace. Goblins can be ruled over by coin. And dark elves have no leader. I need to open the rift as well. So many choices. Ah! I know what I'll do!" Eurynome goes into his room and opens his mirror to speak with Sargis.
     "What is it you wish Nome? Who must die?", Sargis says.
     "None at the moment. However, I need some friends Sargis. I need more followers. Do you know of anyone Sargis?"
     "Hmmm...we don't have many allies. But, there are plenty of mercs in the world. And some members of a cult have been awaiting demons' return. They would follow you blindly."
     "Gather mercs and tell the cult to meet me here. Perhaps I can make nice with some tribal races along the way."
     "Will do sir."

*Later that night*
     "Nome. Men with cloaks are here," a gnoll says.
     "Good. Let them in." The cloaked men enter the room.
     "You must be Eurynome. The half demon," the one in the front said.
     "Yes that would be correct. Now what do I have to do to have you follow me?"
     "Prove to us that you are truly a half demon," a different one said.
     "Alright." Eurynome touches his forehead and changes his apperance.
     "He can change form," one said.
     "So can powerful mages. Show us more," the head one said.
     "As you wish." Eurynome returms to his usual form. Nome fires a beam of light that explodes aganist the wall.
     "Detenation!", one shouted.
     "Not bad. Prove it to us really. Take one of our souls," the head one says.
     "Easier said than done," Nome says.
     "Why so?"
     "I need consent from the soul's owner to take it away. It really is a hassle."
     "Ah. Drenell?" A hooded man steps foward.
     "I, Drenell Presile, give my soul to you to do as you wish." Eurynome places his hands on Drenell and opens his mouth. Drenell's soul enters into Nome's mouth. Drenell collapses.
     "Drenell!"
     "Very good Eurynome. You have our loyalty. We will do whatever you please," the head one says.
     "Gather more followers then come back to me. At once."
     "It will be done. Master Eurynome."
